When is truffle season in Tuscany?
Different truffles grow at different times of year, so there is something to find for much of the year. The exact dates change with the weather, so we confirm what is in season when you book.

Do I need to book the truffle hunt in advance?
Yes. Tell us your dates when you book your stay and we will put you in touch with our local truffle hunter.
Can I go truffle hunting all year round?
Different truffle varieties are found in different months, so there is usually something to hunt for. Autumn is the best known season for the white truffle.
Is the truffle hunt suitable for children?
Yes. Truffle hunting is also great fun for children, especially when they can watch the truffle dog at work. Our local truffle hunter will be happy to advise you about the minimum age.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The weather conditions are checked before defining a date for the truffle hunt.
